Typical Class Progressions for Most Students, Based on Age

Puppies under 16 weeks

Puppy Preschool —> Puppy Intermediate —> Beyond the Basics

Puppies under 16 weeks start with Puppy Preschool, then take Puppy Intermediate, then Beyond the Basics, and from there the puppies confer with their humans to decide if they want to take the more advanced classes they will be eligible for upon successful completion of Beyond the Basics! (Out & About, CGC Prep, and/or Rally-Obedience).

Puppies 4-6 months old

Puppies between 4-8 months have two options: Catch up on concepts and skills learned in Puppy Preschool through one of our two catch-up options (private training or day training), then take Puppy Intermediate and complete the sequence above.

Or, puppies over 16 weeks can simply enroll in the Family Dog. In-person drop-off socials are not available to puppies enrolled in the Family Dog class.

Adult dogs 6+ months old

Puppies over the age of 6 months who have never taken any of our classes before should start in our Family Dog class, then take Beyond the Basics, and so on:
