Puppy Preschool Catch-Up Options

Want to take Puppy Intermediate, but didn’t take Puppy Preschool? Fear not! Here are three ways for you to catch up: Private Training, Day Training, and a private training add-on to Discover Burlington Puppy Camp. All of these options include access to our puppy socials while your pup is enrolled in the catch-up program:

4 Weeks of Private Training

After an initial 30-minute online consultation ($65), we meet online once a week to coach you and your puppy through the skills covered in Puppy Preschool plus discuss common puppy behaviors. We can tailor your sessions to cover any specific concerns you have. You will receive exercises to practice in-between lessons. Four 30-minute online lessons with your trainer. Tuition: $200

2 Weeks of Day Training

After an initial 30-minute online consultation ($65), you drop your puppy off at our facility twice a week for 1 hour per day. We train your puppy directly and install all of the behaviors they would have learned in Puppy Preschool. As part of the training hour, puppies will also benefit from socialization walks downtown and will come home tired. This package includes private one-on-one instruction via 30-minute coaching sessions at the end of each week. The first week’s coaching session is online and the second week is in-person when you come to pick your puppy up from their last training session. Tuition: $600

Puppy Camp + Private Training

If your puppy is under 17 weeks and your schedule didn’t allow you to take puppy preschool group class, you can enroll your puppy in our Discover Burlington puppy camp program, and be eligible for an abbreviated 3-lesson package ($125 for three 30-min online lessons).

These lessons can be scheduled within 1-3 weeks before the next Puppy Intermediate class, depending on our availability.

To sign up,

  1. Enroll your puppy in puppy camp.

  2. Then contact us to request the abbreviated 3-lesson package.

 

Alternatively, instead of taking Puppy Intermediate, you can enroll your older puppy in our adult Family Dog class, which has no prerequisites and is open to dogs over the age of 4 months. Please note that dogs enrolled in Family Dog classes are not eligible for puppy socials, and there is no in-class playtime or socialization offered. If socialization is important to you, we recommend one of the Puppy Catch-Up options above!
