Yağmur is a dog trainer at Fetch the Leash and a graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers, where she earned her Certificate in Training and Counseling (CTC). Yağmur loves having a career that allows her to work with dogs of all kinds, and has a soft spot for small breed dogs.

Yağmur has adored all animals since childhood, but grew up exclusively with cats as family pets. One of Yagmur’s first jobs was dog walking for her neighbors in Brooklyn, NY.

After graduating high school, Yağmur moved from New York City to Burlington, Vermont to study at the University of Vermont, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor in English. During her time at UVM, Yağmur joined the team at Fetch the Leash, and discovered that a career working with animals was more than possible!

Yağmur currently resides with her spunky Chihuahua mix, Prune, and two cats: Dolly and Darla. When she’s not working, Yağmur enjoys watching TV and movies, and engaging with her favorite hobbies: puzzles, sewing, and making miniatures.
